Conclusion

  Making a conclusion to me is not cool sometimes and more when is a think like this blog. Before this blog for the english class, I was an activate blogger and doing this again, I started to be a little nostalgic. I am so thankful with Prof. Segarra to make this amazing blog with different topics every week. I decided I will continue to publicate here with other topics every week. maybe that will help in the graduate schools after the bachelor degree.  Blogger is a tool to stay connect with awesome people. I think this is just a starting with this blog.

  This blog is awakening my love to bloggin' again. This is not a conclusion; it is the end of the first era. I am so thankful with Prof. Iara Segarra and her awesome and dinamic class. This is just starting!

The World

  What is the world? World is just a place when we live. But it really is that only? Think about it...World is not just a blue and green ball when is life there; there is something you need to appreciate. It is humanity. Humanity is not the same that human. Humanity is the value to be togheter and face all the things cannot help us to be stronger. 

Many things we need to solucionate. Humanity is important to the World. We need to appreciate all the good things and be strong for the next generations. We need to follow all the human leaders like Ghandi, Jesus, Mahoma and many others. Rescue the humanity and you are rescuing yourself!

Movies

  

One of my favorites topics to talk about is movies. I can spend hours watching movies and talk about it. I have a lot of favorites movies and I have a fascinating fandom with the popular sagas like Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Hunger Games and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Harry Potter and Hunger Games are movies I enjoyed to read their books. Harry Potter saga I just read "Orden of Fenix" book but in the Hunger Games saga I read all of them. Star Wars saga was my first movies to get in love with the geek world.  

  Since I am child, I love to spend time watching movies. When I was little, I loved (and still loving it) Toy Story. The third one breaks my heart with the situation of Andy. Many of the fans of Toy Story, we pass for that issue.

Right now, I still have the Woody of my childhood. I think every child loved the Disney movies.  

   Right now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is taking me insane with their genius plan to connect all the superheroes movies. Iron Man (Tony Stark) is my favorite character because is like a leader for all of them. Something I like about Stark is hot relationship with science and how he create things. I like to read things about the comics to meet and know things about them. I am so excited about the "Age of Ultron" movie. It is the Avengers sequel and will be out on cinemas in May 2015.

  

  Every movie have something special. You only need to look for it and discover the message it can brings to you. 

Michael Jackson: The King of POP.

  Every person, Have a favorite artist. My favorite is Michael Jackson.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born is August 29, 1958. His parents was Katherine and Joseph Jackson. He started his career like singer when he was 5 years old with his brothers in The Jackson Five. The group was managed by his father and ended when they grew up. Michael became more important to the music industry when he made the album 'Thriller'. This album becomes the best selling-album of all time. Michael won a lot of awards for this album and became the best singer of all time. 

  Many people did not like Michael because some of the stories the paparazzi told to the people in Magazines and News Paper. A los of that Stories are fake. Michael was a person who knew what real love was. He give a lot to the sick children and learned a lot of what the world needed to care for it. Proudly, I can say I am fan of this man and hope his legacy will lives forever. 

The media

  Many years, people needs to be inform what happened in their atmosphere. Some people watch news, magazines, listen to radio...so many ways to get inform. But, what happened when the people trust in every media? This starts the manipulation of woman, men and children and becomes one of the best powerful weapon to the humanity. In media, we can see a lot of topics like celebrities, politics, sports, etc. Every topic affects everyone in different a way. 

  But, returning in the statement about the media is a weapon, Why I am told you this? Because is real. Many people use the media to manipulate us and make lies the truth. No everything in the media is real. Sometimes, the things that shows the media is a lie to hide the truth. We need to be alert about this and educate our children and family. 

Religion and People

  So many moments we heard people talking about what really means religion to them. For some many people is the thing that separates the humankind; to others is the road for salvation. Thanks for religion, we have a lot of thing we enjoy today. One of the biggest religion (I mean, the biggest) is the Catholic Church. 

  The Catholic Church was founded by a disciple of Jesus Christ, Peter. So many people are denominated Catholic for years and is the Christian church with more Christians. The Catholic Church founded the first schools, universities and hospitals. Thanks for this Church, we have a great education and many other things. But, not always everything is fine. The Catholic Church did many wrong things (and some people inside). For years, actually, many priests are accused of pedophilia and sexual abuse. This things are one of the issues that make a big crisis inside the Church. Behind of that, we have other crisis of the Church but they are insignificants now. 

  Many people judge all the Church for that acts of that people. Not all the Church believes in pedophillia; not all the priests are pedophiles. We need to take seriously this topic and respect all the points of view of the people. The Religions makes maybe a little division but it give us the light of hope and faith. 

Right now, the pope of the Catholic Church is Pope Francis. A man who are giving a new vision of the Catholic Church and like a Catholic I am so very proud what is happening right now with him. 

War is the answer?

  Since the humanity existence, the problems between us are without end. So many ways to think; so many ways to act. We can start to fight with someone for simply things. Sometimes, we do not take care about what is correct, we just want to win. This issues occurs too in the governments and in a sadness way.

  We know wars like the "World War I" and "World War II" that makes a big hole in our society (worldwide). Many families lost their sons and fathers. One of the ugliest war of history was the Second World War. That involves many stories of Jews and the Nazi movement managed by the powerful Adolf Hitler (picture under this letters). Hitler just wants to create a new pure race and determinate the Jews like unpures. Many families suffers a lot of the decision from that government and their acts. 

   Later, Hitler was attacked by the U.S. Government and brings to the Jews and German people a new state of peace. 

We need to know that the called first war and second war was not the only conflicts in the world. Many times, United States and many countries need to invade others to make a solution of the problem. Years ago, the World Trade Center in New York (picture below) was attacked by a terrorist group called "Al-Qaeda". In that act, 3,000 people died innocently. United States started instantaneally a war against terrorist. Some medias say that war ende dejen United States killed Osama Bin Laden, terrorist leader of the "Al-Qaeda". 

  

 Right now, the United States is fighting against the Islamic State (picture below). Another terrorist group who are saying they want to attack New York and many important points of USA. the Islamic State wants to exterminate all the Christians to create a pure world with their belives in the Musulmin religion. They upload videos killing Americans and Christians people's the videos scandalized the World in a horrible way.

The real question is...The war is the answer? Is a hard question when you think many situations was resulted thanks for the wars and dialogue does not worked. The humans need to think and be responsible of their acts. Love is all we need (like John Lennon said). 

Death

  This is a topic that some many people do not like to talk. Some People have fear and others talk about like is something normal. Death is a topic that in some moment we need to take it seriously. 

  Thanks for God, I have never been near of death but I loose some many people. One of them was my mother last year in 2013. She was diabetic and with the age of 40, she started to have problems with her kidneys. It is so sad to me to remember how was that day. She was a strong woman who helped me to be where I am now. I am very thankful for what she did. 

  Death is the end of a cycle; for me, like a Christian, is the beginning of a new circle of peace in heaven. I always pray for my mother can rest in peace. I hope, the day I come to heaven, I can find her and hug her for one more time. 

We need to take seriously the topic of death. We need to start to get ready for that moment and live everyday like it was the last. 

Happiness

                 

  Happiness sí one of the words most used in the world. Some people is looking for it, found it, lost it or they can explain it. The definition of the Oxford Dictionary says "The state of being happy". But, what means happy? The same people of Oxford says "Feeling or showing pleasure or contentment". But, where we can found happiness? Where we can feel so happy?

  One of my favorites movies of all time is "Pursuit of Happyness" (yes, is not "happiness") stared by Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. This movie talks about a man who lost everything and he need to find how to start again with his son. One of the things the movie shows is does not matter how are you, you need to find your happiness. The happiness is inside you; you need to find them and you identify what makes you feel happy. It does not matter if that things are simple; you need to live the moments you are enjoying. Do not waste your time to be unhappy when you can be the opposite! 

Welcome to my new blog.

Hello! Welcome to my new blog! My name is Efraín I. Santos. I have 19 years old, I am from Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. I am studying in the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey in the area of Natural Sciences on concentration in Biology. This blog is for a project to the English Grammar class and I will talk here about different topics every week.

  This blog is not my first on blogger. I started in the world when I was like 13 years old. The blogs was about the Disney Channel stars and later, when I was in High School, I started with a blog of Artificial Life to the Chemistry Class. It was fun to work with both blogs. My plans for this blog is to continue to work with it later I finish this project.

Blogs help people to express their opinion and to present their ideas to the society in an easy way. Thanks for Professor Iara Segarra to this opportunity. So excited about this!
